Of all the destinations where one might travel during the holiday season, none is more popular than New York City. With the Macy’s parade on Thanksgiving Day, the Rockefeller Plaza tree lighting, holiday markets in the parks, the famous windows of Macy’s and 5th Avenue, and, of course, the ball-dropping on New Year’s Eve, it draws millions of tourists from around the globe in the late part of the year.
Due to this influx of tourists, plenty of popular New York City restaurants remain open on the major holidays.
If you are going to be in the New York City area on Thanksgiving Day, there are plenty of restaurants open in Manhattan, most of them serving up their version of a traditional Thanksgiving meal. If you are looking for a place to eat, these are the restaurants by area that will be serving up Thanksgiving.
